Just because they’re guys, doesn’t mean it’s right to disrespect them. I mean, if us girls expect to be treated right.. we gotta treat them right, too. Just because we’re the girls, doesn’t give us an excuse to be the Queen all the time. You gotta make him feel like the King. Of course, that has limits, too. You guys have to be strong together. It’s not all a matter of “who’s being the boyfriend” in the relationship or who’s doing the most work. You guys have the share the power. Think about it. That’s the only way it works. It’s hard to explain, but it’s just something I personally live by. My mom always asks me why I’m so nice to guys. Why I decide to buy them things. Why I decide to walk long distances to hang out with my guy friends. Why decide to stay out late with my guy friends. She’s okay with it, but she’s confused. It’s sort of like I’m one of the guys, you know. HEY, I’M STRAIGHT LOL. I just have a deep respect for guys, that is all. And it’s not even all about relationships, you know. It’s about the double standards of girls and guys. Think about it. It’s hard to me to explain haha.
